Considering Transmedia and Merchandising: 2nd Year Animation and 1st year Game Enviroment

In the first year we were tasked with creating a Game Environment, for this, I decided to use an early draft of one of my character from a then barley-existing Wild-Life. I created the pirate ship for my Walrus, there are some images below of the environment.

In the 2nd year we were tasked with creating a short animation. For this, we decided to use another one of our characters, as we slowly built this idea of a fictional world in our heads. This one used Bill, and a very early version of Sawyer. The ship from the first video is also evident in the first image, this was our first test of crossing these characters together, and it worked perfectly. There are some images of this below.

Although these were simply first attempts at using Maya and Unity, and any real Game or Saturday morning cartoon that would come of Wild-Life would be to a much higher quality, this did give us a very good insight to see if Wild-Life could be used this way. Although this style leans towards a younger audience than Wild-Life was originally intended for, it still works, after all you see Batman saturday morning cartoons, then Nolans Dark Knight trilogy. This I think was a success.
