Marbio Abren

Bane is a comic book super villain created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench and Graham Nolan. However this artwork portrays the best things about the character, intellectual and incredibly strong due to his constant 'venom' intake, he is famous for being the only character who 'Broke the bat'. I love the muscle detail in the character here, the anatomy and sheer size on the character here, his threatening presence and wires flowing into his body. you can see he's human but completely ferocious whist always being calm which is what makes him so frighting.

Joss Whedon

Joss Whedon's idea to use motion capture to portray The Hulk has worked phenomenally, scanning the actor who plays him into a computer including his his teeth, hair, stubble, eyes, wrinkles, plus any freckles or scars shows us that the monster is the man, and the Hulk finally has realistic expressions for the first time since the T.V series.

Christopher Nolan

In the last chapter of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy we see batman deal with a villain who can and does overpower him physically and push batman to his limits, with not only his life on the line but his beloved Gotham aswell as Bane wrecks havoc. This is a tension filled, two and a half hour fight for Gotham, and for the first time the audience is unsure if Batman will die in this chapter due to the comic its based on and the advertisements hinting at the heroes ultimate fall.

Gikol

I found this piece on the internet with the artists signature written in the corner, it has a real sinister look about it, and the lighting is mesmerizing, the way Bane's eyes light red and the tittle 'the man who broke the bat' already gives the piece more than horror but an almost sadness.

Andrew Coombes

The lead character artist for the game Arkham Asylum has gone for a more realistic atmosphere than the comic book, whist keeping the over-sized unrealistic elements of key characters, the outcome has a slightly more sinister look, using metals and concretes as the backdrop for most of the game, with the villains dressed as inmates with key element to their characters still predominantly there, gives a horror theme aswell, creating alot of tension in each and every shot.

Lindy Hemming

The costume for the character 'Bane' in the Dark Knight Rises is crucial to the character, whilst being based on the costume used in the comic's, costume designer Lindy Hemming has re-designed the mask to look like a mechanical gorillas mouth, to show strength, power and viciousness. the rest of the costume is parted from the comic book version to have a more 'realistic' mercenary background story for Nolan's batman universe.
