Considering Transmedia and Merchandising: Action Figure Range - Square Enix

Square Enix is primarily a game developer, but they do however have a figure line, mostly of characters that feature in their games. The work the produce is often incredible, the articulation and detail is on point, the large range of different sculpts they offer in both men and women builds is huge, and all are impressive. They are a near flawless range, however alot of their newer works are a little too anime esc for my taste. The only real issue I have is the lack of anything human in the work. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, only I like a range in a collection. They have one of the best examples of attention to texture that I have seen, making everything as different and realistic as possible. They also put alot of effort into the stance of each character, making sure they capture the personality in the way they pose. There is certainly a very unique style about their work, but not something that I think is appropriate for our Action Figure Range.
