Tsutomu Nihei's manga style take on Wolverine is certainly different, some critisms say isn't too 'emo' for Wolverine, I just think it looks like a Tim Burton take on him, its a different spin on him, Not as muscular but still animal like. I think it looks alot more threatening  Hugh Jackman said when he was getting in shape for the role that he didn't want just muscles, but a extremely veiny look, like the kind of guy you would actually be scared of if you saw him in a bar, which is ironic cause Jackman was super ripped, but i think these pics have that quality to it, that instant fear, I think it works.
