The Blackwater Gospel - Bo Mathorne

The Blackwater Gospel is a short animation that at first glance looks more like a traditional animation, Its environment and characters are modelled but textured to look like drawings, giving the film a very distinct style. The film mostly is about what paranoia, and religious extremism leads too. Which is a incredibly modern issue for a the western genre. The story and visuals are both utterly unique, creating what is personally my favourite animation. The style is added upon with a tea stained texture and a splash stain effect on the camera, making it look even more like a traditional animation.

The film is available to view here -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVkDrIacHJM
