From the Director of 'The Road' and 'The Proposition' John Hillcoat, brings us this short film, taken from cut scenes and gameplay from the Rockstar game 'Red Dead Redemption' this promotional piece of advertising tells the story of John Marston's struggle on the new American frontier. The film is hugely enjoyable but because it contains so many cut-scenes from the game, and is not nearly as fluent i wouldn't recommend viewing it. Although I am impressed by the use of both cinematic and gameplay from different angles, and the transition are not too obvious, the story is good, however it clearly jumps an awful lot, which is to be expected as hours of gameplay should take place between them. It's a great piece, but not as good as the game I feel and it contains alot of spoilers to it.
