Creating the Alien - Week 3

This stage of creating the Alien was about rigging through the control points, we used different points for each part of the Alien, some had to be custom made trough curves which I made in the author-graphic windows, but most were simply circle control points placed in the right places, and parented into a hierarchy so the shoulder controls the elbow, which controls the wrist ect. Which leads to the master control which moves the whole thing. Most of these NURBS controls had attributes that stopped them from moving in certain directions, I.e so the elbow doesn't move backwards, giving it a more realistic rig. The face controls like the eyes were bound to the skeleton using aim controls, and the eyebrows used point controls, all of this adds to the expression so the end model will have more personality and life to it.
