Subjects and ThemesBroadly speaking what are you interested in exploring and why?

I intend to create and expand the Wild-Life fictional world. Creating a comic around it, and proving it would look goos as a number of different medias, but not all of these will work as a business level standard as I intend to focus on the comic that I plan it to be. The themes will focus on real life subject matters, strong personal characters that an audience will relate too, that are contained in a fun and vast, interesting world.  This world will mirror reality and history, referencing strongly some important events, but taking them as inspiration for a story rather than a re-telling.

Statement of IntentSpecifics of what you want to do, during this module?
If you plan on working on multiple briefs to demonstrate your practice, identify clearly each brief.

Create characters, a world, perfect my skills in drawing and storytelling, making them faster and better, this may include life drawing and drawing from reference more often and practising that. Use these skills to create a comic book, a short stand alone one that will have characters from the stories and contain everything our comic is, but act as a short preview for the bigger picture to come. I also want to prove that this is a great trans media idea, and prove it will look great in a number of different mediums. I would like to explore the following.

Explain how this will be developing your Specialist Practice?

I intend to make this a business after uni, and want to go into this field of work. That is why I am using Extended practice to set this up, following from Cop 3. I intend to study my practice until I have required and gained the skills necessary to make my business a success. Studying anatomy and working from reference would speed up my drawing and make it better. Looking into page layout will help me make mine better, and to a professional level. Creating a world map will help me realise the world and help me work out journeys and story arcs. Outlining the characters story arcs will help me realise where things are going and feel more confident about the future of the business. A short comic will give potential buyers a chance to get exited about whats to come and prove to ourselves we are at a stage to start making comics. Everything I would like to do if there is time is to help sell the idea of trans media, proving that this works on different mediums, and can be something we realise on social media to start getting people exited about what is to come.

No, but we have people we are setting briefs for, sych and graphic designers to come up with the logo. They who will be credited for their work. 

This is my Statement of intent, only I have decided to document everything at this address, rather than the one I had originally put.
