Lindy Hemming

The costume for the character 'Bane' in the Dark Knight Rises is crucial to the character, whilst being based on the costume used in the comic's, costume designer Lindy Hemming has re-designed the mask to look like a mechanical gorillas mouth, to show strength, power and viciousness. the rest of the costume is parted from the comic book version to have a more 'realistic' mercenary background story for Nolan's batman universe.
